TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. The competition is open to all ages except employees (and their families) of Daler-Rowney, their agents and anyone connected with the competition.
  2. No purchase necessary.
  3. The prize/prizes will be awarded on order of merit to those entrants who in the judges opinion most appropriately meet the requirements
  4. The judges decision as to the prize winners shall be final but in all other matters arising out of or in connection with the competition, the decision of Daler-Rowney shall be final and legally binding.
  5. It is a condition of entry that the rules of the competition are accepted as final, and that the competitiors agree to abide by the rules.
  6. No correspondence will be entered into.
  7. No entrant may win more than one prize.
  8. All prize winners will be notified by post.
  9. Cash alternative is not available
  10. Entries must be uploaded by 1st December 2008 at  GMT 17:00 when the competition will close
  11. All entries will be judged by a panel of judges appointed by Daler-Rowney including one member independent of Daler-Rowney and their agents.
  12. The winning pictures and their painters names will be made available after 31st January 2009 on the Daler-Rowney website at www.daler-rowney.com
  13. Only one entry allowed per person.
  14. Photographs of the winning pictures and their artists may be used in the press and on the Daler-Rowney website.
  15. Winners agree to take part in any publicity about the competion free of charge.
  16. All entries must be uploaded before the deadline and only one entry per artist permitted.
  17. The names of all prizewinners will be published on the Daler-Rowney website.
  18. Paintings submitted for the competition must be available for display if successful.
  19. Entrants must upload their entry to the online gallery under the appropriate category.
  20. Only entries uploaded to the site will be judged.
  21. Entries will be available for the general pubic to view online.
